Two BIG topics at this meeting:
1 – 2016-17 Guild Officers will be elected at this meeting. It is very important that all Guild members cast their votes! If you cannot attend, it is important that you submit a proxy voting form. Download the form here.
2 – It’s our annual Barter, Sale & Trade! Bring any textile-related equipment and tools as well as yarn, fiber, books or magazines that you would like to “destash”. Make a few dollars by selling or items or trade them for things you’d rather have. Nothing to sell? Please come and shop!
Each seller will handle his/her own sales, so please come prepared with change and anything else you need to make a sale. In exchange for hosting this event, the Guild requests a donation of 30% of sellers’ earnings from this event.
Attendees may bring finger food snacks or beverages to share and, as always, recent textiles arts projects for show-and-tell are appreciated.
