Fiber Reative Dyes – Color Mixing and Blending
Fiber reactive dyes are safe and easy to use! We will be mixing colors and dyeing cellulose (plant-based) fiber and fabric.
Mix and match colors from 5 basic dyes, using warm water and enjoy experimental mixing and painting to get good, unique, “artistic” yarns and fabrics.
Bring any plant-based fiber* or fabric you want to “color”(it helps if you’ve already scoured it).
*Examples of plant-based fibers: Cotton, linen, rayon, bamboo, etc. Silk works, too.
