A busy evening on tap! Program topics: “Weaving Tips and Tricks” will include a demonstration of repairing broken warp threads, making repair heddles and using a McMorran Yarn Balance to determine yards/lb. of an unknown yarn (or homespun). Kristie will also provide us with “Bobbins and Shuttles 101” or how to decide which one is best for the job. And, Vicky will demonstrate the use of one of her sock knitting machines!
In addition, we will package the last of our handmade bookmarks for the 2013 ANWG Conference “goody bags”since the deadline is before our next meeting.
The meeting will take place Tuesday, March 12, 2013, 6 pm at Orchard Crest Retirement Community in the meeting room on the top floor right across from the elevator.
