This month Judy tells us she is weaving on face cloths and hand towels on her four shaft counterbalance floor loom. The face clothes are 12 inches wide at the reed, 8/4 cotton warp, set 15 ends per inch, threaded straight twill, treadled vertical pointed twill. Matching hand towels are plain weave.
She is planning for three square cloths and 13 towels using a variety of slubby and smooth cotton wefts, yellow or orange or blue or natural white.
